Getting help
SonoCred is in beta and the team is small. Email is the only channel. You will get a reply from a person who works on the app.
What to include
- Your phone or computer and its operating system version, for example iPhone 15, iOS 18.
- The app version, shown at the bottom of Settings.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- The approximate time, so we can find it in the logs. Our logs hold no patient data.
- A screenshot if it helps. Check it first. Do not send a screenshot that shows an MRN, a date of birth or a patient name, and never send an ultrasound image.
What to expect
- We reply within two business days, Perth time. Most replies are faster.
- There is no phone line and no out-of-hours support. If the app is down mid-shift, log the scan on paper and enter it later. The date of the scan is what counts, not the date you entered it.
- We do not answer clinical questions. The app is an educational logbook, not a clinical service. Ask your supervisor or your ultrasound lead.
- Requests to delete your account are done within seven days and confirmed by email.
Common questions
I cannot see the MRN field on my laptop
That is by design. Identifiers can only be entered on the phone, into its secure vault. The desktop version has no identifier fields. Use the phone at the bedside and the desktop for follow-up and review.
The app refused my clinical history
The free-text screen found something shaped like an MRN or a date of birth. Remove the number or the date and try again. Write the patient's age band, not their date of birth, and never their name.
My follow-up section is locked
It opens 48 hours after the time of the scan. The time it opens is shown on the entry.
I changed hospitals
Email us with your new department and we will move your account. Your logbook comes with you. Your old department's supervisors lose access to new entries from that point.
I lost my phone
Your logbook is safe. It is in the cloud and holds no identifiers. The vault on the lost phone is encrypted by the phone itself and is not on our servers. Sign in on a new phone and carry on. If the phone was not locked, tell your hospital's IT team, because the vault held MRNs.
Security reports
If you find a security problem, email [email protected] with the word Security in the subject. Do not post it publicly first. We will acknowledge it within two business days and tell you what we did about it.
